Ok people!! This week has come and gone and let us see what has come of it!!
Well Elder D and I decided to start giving classes of English to those in Tipitapa that would like to get a basic run down of English. We taught our first class on Saturday. We had about 10 people there, most of them kids but it went pretty well. We are using the class to find new people to teach about the gospel as well. The class went really well and we actually found out that its alot harder to teach english to someone than we thought. English is just a mixed up language, I have no idea how it came about and why it is so mixed up and messed when compared to other languages. Spanish was so much easier to learn.
So here in Tipitapa, they are celebrating some annual events, for who knows what reasons but they are having a bunch of crazy activities. About a month ago, they put in a rodeo place where they have bull rides every night. And yesterday, they had what they call the Run of the Bulls. In Spain, they do it too, where they let the bulls run through the street and everyone runs with them to get that adrenaline rush. Well they did that here in Tipitapa. I didnt find out they were doing it til lunch time and by that time, the bulls were already in the streets. So we ran to our house to drop some stuff off and head to the church for a meeting, hoping to see something before we got there. Well while we were in the house, we heard a bunch of screams and TONS of people stated to run in front of the house!! We live really close where the bulls were ending their run. So were went out on our porch, with is fenced off btw, and we watched as one bull ran by, stopped in front of the house and ran a bunch of people out of the way. It was super cool and scary but Hey, thats what we do in Nicaragua!! I got some pics and some video as well!!
Well that is the sum up of my week and I hope the beste for all of you out there in the world, whereever you may be that you may do the things of the Lord and that He may bless you for your obedience!! Love you all!!
“Prayer is a supernal gift of our Father in Heaven to every soul. Think of it: the absolute Supreme Being, the most all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful personage, encourages you and me, as insignificant as we are, to converse with Him as our Father.”
